Marie and Dan got married on May 30, 2009. Their Ceremony was held at Olympic View Golf Course. Then, we went to Witty’s Lagoon for some artsie portraits. Reception was also held at Olympic View Golf in Victoria, BC. Marie and Dan are truly a very wonderful couple. I wish them a very happy life together. Below are a few pages of their wedding book.
We photographed Monica and Rob prior to their wedding, as you might call it Engagement, however I call this a Pre-Wedding, as it is a stepping stone and a foundation towards the big day (Wedding). During this session, we train Bride and Groom to be, how to take great images, something, they will take with them for the rest of their lives, we practise posing and learn what works and what doesn’t for this couple. But the most important thing here is that we get to know each other well, so that we’re no longer just people with cameras at the wedding. Our clients rave about the importance of the pre-wedding, “a must have one”, while we know that without it, a photographer is not able to create images that reflect the real persona. We include pre-wedding with all wedding packages at no charge, as part of our commitment to create unique images that reflect the style of the people been photographed. Monica and Rob are a good example of the mentioned approach. Just view their images below, and I am sure that you will notice that they have their own unique style, just like the rest of does, which is a direct result of taking the steps described. Shelley and Mark’s engagement session was taken in May 09, 2009. They got married in August of the same year, and I will certainly get back with their wedding images later. Here is Monica and Ryan’s engagement portraits taken May 1st, 2009. Yes, it’s been a while since their session, it’s just that I have been extremely busy and there was no time left for me to blog. They’re truly amazing people, in and out. It is worth mentioning that aMonica is a National champ in Fencing. She travels the world, together with Ryan, and competes with world’s best athletes. It’s been a true joy photographing them. In fact, I feel privileged to have met them and be their photographer. Oh, and did I mention that they got Married in November of 2009, certainly, I will post their wedding too soon. See you soon, Lilo
Emily and Jasen of Edmonton married in Victoria, BC on February 14, 2009, yes on Valentines Day. Their Ceremony was performed at St Ann’s Academy and Reception at the famous Empress Hotel here in Victoria, BC. I’v had the opportunity to get to know them almost a year before their wedding, during their engagement portrait session and by just been in touch till the wedding. They’re truly a special couple and wonderful people. Yes, their wedding was in the middle of Winter, however we’ve had perfect weather for outdoor portraits, see images below. I have to say that it has been a true privilege to get know them and to photograph and experience their special day.

I photographed Monique and Dan’s wedding in 2005. Since then, I have photographed this wonderful family every year, starting with pregnancy (both babies), then family year after year. In fact, we have become good friends. Here are some samples of their Fall 2008 family portrait session. Yes, I am reaching back, as I have not been able to Blog during the busy season. Though, I have made the commitment to keep it up with it. Monique has a wonderful family portrait idea. She’s going to have a family book every 5 years. I think that that is just brilliant.

Due to been very busy, I have not been able to blog for almost a year. I am sorry about it, there just wasn’t any time left for me to do it.
Well, I am back now, and I am going back in time to bring-up a few photography session and the wonderful people I have been privileged to photograph.
Here is Katherine and Brendon’s engagement portrait session taken on November 11th 2008. And yes, it was taken outdoors here in Victoria, BC. As you will see in the images, they’re a wonderful couple. They got married on September 5th 2009, at Hatley Castle in Victoria, BC. I will be talking more in depth about their wedding later.
Photographing Jasmine & Ben’s wedding, simply put, it was a great joy. The two of them are one of the most wonderful people, I have come across. The entire wedding was performed at Delta Ocean Point Resort in Victoria, BC. Though, we went to Parliament building and the Beach for the portrait session. Ben is a third generation Fire Fighter, it is a family tradition, and he managed to bring inn a 1950s Fire Truck at the back of the Parliament building. This was really special, see images below. We ended-up designing a 56 page 11×14 Designer Art Book for them, click link to see the entire book layout.
Ben is from a Canadian French family from Quebec, and his family had come to the wedding to celebrate. Louis and Benoit (mom and dad), send me a thank you letter, and thought to share it with you, truly wonderful people… It was so special to see families from one end of Canada to the other end, blend together. I feel honoured and privileged to be a part of such wonderful celebration.

Christina & Dean and their two lovely daughters; Ashley and Kailynn are from Calgary, Alberta. Christina, been a West Coast Girl, booked their wedding at the Old English Inn resort in Victoria, BC. Since the time, about 6 moths before the wedding, I spoke with Christina, over the phone, she’s been saying; “I hope it is not going to rain”. Then, we met at the English Inn a day before the wedding, a sunny day, and Christina says again, “I hope it is not going to rain tomorrow”. Guest what, it Rained like never before!
Just about 5 minutes before the Ceremony we decided to change the venue, it was going to be outdoors. Well, we still kept it outdoors, but under cover, just in front of the Hotel Lobby. After the Ceremony, we went to Government House, Victoria, BC. After a few images under the cover, Christina and Dean decided to go in the Rain, yeah babe… This turned-out to be the very best thing they could have imagined for their wedding day, just look at their book layout samples, below.
