Katie and Jason married on August 09, 2011 at the Old English Inn in Victoria, BC. Their big day was filled with joy and a sense of humour. Maggie & Xing married on July 2nd at Saxe point in Victoria, BC. As you can tell by the Xing’s uniform, he’s a Canadian Navy officer. For this reason, both the Ceremony and portraits were photographed by the water with Ocean panoramic views. After the wedding we designed a 50 page 10×13 book printed on Metallic paper and Metal cover, a must see work of art. Bellow are a few samples of their book page layout. Crystal & Chris married on June 11, 2011 at Olympic View golf course in Victoria, BC. Portraits were taken at a beach near by in Metchosin and on the golf course grounds. Crystal is a tree climber, so she wanted to do this on her wedding day. It was a great joy photographing this wonderful couple, so once more Congratulations! Lilo
Due to a very busy Summer and Fall, I have not been able to keep up with the blog, sorry folks. The good news is that I am back to a slower season now, and that I am able to go back in time and share with you the photography assignment stories I’ve been up to. So here is Stephanie & Neil’s wedding which took place at Hatley Castle here in Victoria, BC, Canada. This venue is one of my favourite places to photograph a wedding. And of course, Stephanie and Neil were the stars of that day, truly wonderful couple.

Stephanie and Neil’s engagement portrait session was taken on May 9th, 2011 at Government House in Victoria, BC. Their wedding will be in June 4, 2011 at Hatley Castle, simply put a spectacular setting for the wedding. In fact, it doesn’t get much better than Hatley. Stephanie and Neil are really wonderful people, they are very much in love, and I think that they are a true match. Engagement (pre-wedding) is a foundation towards the big day. We practice posing and experiment with styles so that we get to learn what works best for the couple. Here are a few samples of this session, Lilo
Jo-Anne & Gary are getting married in July 16th of 2011 in Victoria BC. Images below are from their pre-wedding portrait session (engagement). It was a great joy photographing them before their wedding, and I am certain that their wedding is going to be a delight to photograph too. Mother of two sisters Evangelina and Charya, came to Victoria on February 2011 from Finland to visit and she decided to have an outdoor portrait session for her two daughters. Photographing the two girls was a great joy and a privilege. As you will see in the images below, they are full of joy, and certainly they know how to express it. Lilo
